Second Generation Coins (c. 200 BC to c. 125 BC)

First generation coins are straight imitations of the Philippus. They are never going to get confused with the original, but the Celts stayed as faithful as they could, even copying the legend and mint marks. They used the same design on all their gold denominations. Staters from this phase generally weigh over 8.1g.
